DESCRIPTION:
Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn., BEEHIVE shelf clock, 8 day spring, time and gong strike, in a mahogany veneered case.
CONDITION:
the wooden dial has some stains, and with some losses beyond numeral V, touched in with white paint. Hands original. The case has been refinished, rubbed and nicely polished to show the colorful mahogany grain. The etched & cut glass tablet is original, just thoroughly cleaned.. Nice label inside case. Overall a good example of an earlier beehive.
